Rosebud is a Central Coast jam band focusing on the music of the Grateful Dead augmented with a few originals, some Dylan, etc. Bandleader Scott Cooper mixes his experience as guitarist and singer from The China Cats with his pedigree of successful solo CDs such the KPIG hit “Ghost of La Honda.” Mark Corsolini was the original drummer of Dark Star Orchestra). Pianist Lachlan Kane brings his honky tonk and R&B chops to the band along with versatile bassist Andy Birchett. Rosebud’s secret weapon is lead guitarist Fred Rodriguez who’s simply a tasteful and ripping guitarist who embraces Garcia’s tone while adding his own touch.
Not So Young, out of Santa Cruz Ca, is a dedicated group of musicians that capture the mood and raw energy of the classic Neil Young song book. Representing over 40 years of Neil Young music, Not So Young delivers a wide assortment from the Godfather of Grunge. Every time you see “Not So Young” perform, you will be glad you came out to “Feel the Neil”! The band features lead guitarist Dylan Rose, formerly of James Durbin’s touring band, and internationally acclaimed shredder.
